Shvvvr is genre-bending post-apocalyptic progressive world jazz. Fusing musical movements from across the globe, Shvvvr seeks to reign in the diaspora of humanity to create unity and new growth from destruction.

About Wamba
World Beat, Afrojazz, Contemporary African
Wamba is a World Beat project formed in 2011 from a vision shared by Ghanian dancer and drummer Richard Mensah Sokpor and multi-instrumentalist Adam Carpinelli.
The five to ten piece ensemble band, with members from Ghana and North America, features original compositions with syncopated and polyrhythmic West African percussion breaks and extended improvisation.
It also focuses on West African rhythms generally featuring Ghanaian percussionists and rhythms with original repertoire such as progressive Afrojazz, Afrobeat, Latin, and Caribbean.

About Keys Beats Bars
Audiovisual Music Program for Underserved Youth
An arts-integrated and culturally and trauma responsive project providing audiovisual and holistic music programming for justice-involved, incarcerated, and marginalized youth in Oregon.
We work with a range of music artists who raise awareness of cultural music and support youth in skills building and alternative forms of healing.

About Lanterns
A Genre-bending Progressive World/Jazz Fusion Project
Lantern’s Vol I. features eight compositions of original instrumental compositions by Adam Carpinelli. The music on Lanterns can be described as Carpinelli’s special brand of genre-bending progressive world/jazz fusion project expanding the future of odd metered and syncopated music mixing elements of Afro Cuban Latin jazz, Afrobeat, funk and free jazz. Lanterns material was recorded nursing several sessions in 2024 and will continue to release more material on Lanterns. Vol. II in 2026.
